Power Dressing Essentials For Men Today

First impressions last. Whether we like it or not, there is a grain of truth here. We often make assumptions about a person's social status depending on the clothes and accessories he wears. Along with that, the attention and esteem we give vary according to people's appearance. Power dressing is important if you want to be taken seriously, especially when you are out on a serious mission of whatever nature. The succeeding thoughts will make you understand this option more and make it work to your advantage.

The way you dress affects the way you feel about yourself. It has a transforming factor which influences our emotions and our minds. Ladies, for example, take time to be in a nice outfit with matching make-up and scent to uplift their gloomy mood. Try neat attires aside from your usual shirt and jeans and you will be conscious about looking good all through out the day.

Executives are expected to be in professional clothes whenever and wherever. You can usually spot them in suits or wearing dress shirts in casual gatherings. Why? They take care of the extra measure of respect due them. It also creates in them that kind of discipline by making themselves conscious of what people would comment on their stance. More so, it makes them aware of the details that contribute to their overall look.

Dressing up properly can take you closer to your goals. This holds true in events like job interviews, closing business deals or gracing seminars or talks. Wearing tailor fit or jackets sends the message that you have prepared for an interview and you are serious to get the job. Power dressing can give you that sense of reliability at one glance without even talking about your credentials.

It is not enough that you pick presentable clothes. Ensure that their cut, color and print fit you. For the cut, be careful not to wear styles custom-made for the slim if you are quite plum. The same concept works otherwise. Consider your skin when choosing the color of your top. There are certain colors which complete the color of your eyes and hair too. Furthermore, the kind of event you will be attending dictates the color of suit you should be wearing. Formal events require solid colors like black, dark blue and white most of the time. Pin stripes are the common and the only acceptable prints in suits. Any other type of print on them would be inappropriate.

Power dressing is one thing men should not overlook. It can be your stepping stone to countless opportunities. It can get you to many places and meet important people you have not encountered. Additionally, it can build your character - self-confidence, discipline and attention to details. You will never know the chances that may come your way out there and dressing appropriately might be crucial in claiming them. For whatever its worth, consider carrying yourself in a presentable manner all the time. Stay groomed and dress well.

Creation of Power: The Wonders of Creatine

Are you one of the people subscribing to those quick 15- to 20-minute workouts? Do you need those bursts of power required for running dashes or cycling sprints? Creatine can help boost your performance for these short duration yet immensely intensive workouts.

What is Creatine?

Creatine is an important element in our body as it is involved in the production of energy. It is mostly stored in our skeletal muscles, though around 5% can be found in our brain and heart. It is produced naturally in our body by amino acids.

Creatine can also be sourced from red meat and fish, though its amount would be greatly depleted as a result of cooking. Sushi and sashimi are excellent sources as they do not require cooking, thus, much of their creatine are retained.

Creatine is also available as a supplement in both powder and capsule forms.

For creatine to be absorbed by our muscles, the body would require insulin. Eating food rich in carbohydrates is therefore recommended so that more creatine would be made available for our muscles. therefore it is best to have it with glucose powder or non citrus fruit juice.

Effects of Creatine

The intake of creatine will result to a higher level in adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. ATP is a source of energy for muscles for short-term intensive workout sessions. It is especially helpful for training activities like lifting weights or running sprints.

Creatine, however, is not needed for muscles utilized primarily for endurance exercises. As it may lead to an increase in weight, those involved in endurance activities are not advised to take supplements of creatine.

Take note that the increase in weight is due to the increase in muscle size brought about by the additional load that you can carry. Muscle fibers can also grow because of creatine.

Creatine intake also decreases the amount of lactic acid in our body, which in turn will lead to less fatigue and faster recuperation.

Benefits of Creatine

The most obvious benefits of creatine are increase in strength and improvement of muscle size. It is most beneficial to those performing activities that need a quick burst of energy, like sprinting, baseball or heavy weight lifting. Aside from increase in muscle size, creatine also helps in recovery after intense training activities.

Creatine is also known to boost mental capacity. Those lacking in sleep may also benefit from a creatine supplement.

Muscle aches may also decrease significantly when you take in creatine. Your skin can also benefit from the creatine added to lotions and creams.

When to Take Creatine

The best times to take creatine are before and after your workout or training sessions. Taking it before a workout will help set up your body for a muscle building state. On the other hand, taking creatine supplement after your workout will allow your body to quickly recover and prevent a breakdown of your muscles, allowing you to return to the gym quicker.

So give your body a bit of an energy boost and help improve your strength and muscle size by taking creatine. That bit of energy boost can actually help you become stronger and allow you to increase your load.

Micronised Creatine is very fine powdered Creatine that is easily absorbed into the bloodstream.

When loading up on Creatine it causes the muscle cells to hydrate full of water. The hydration makes the muscles fuller and bigger. The extra muscle volume (due to the water in the muscles) causes strength to increase. If you put the increase in strength into good use by lifting more weight it would cause more stress on the muscle fibres. By eating a good nutritious balanced diet, this would support new muscular growth.

It is important to eat a good nutritious diet made up of protein, carbohydrates and essential fats and train hard during Creatine loading if you want effective results.

Serving Suggestions:

For Energy
Mix one serve (5g) of Creatine Monohydrate in 200 mls of water
mixed with glucose powder or non citrus fruit juice
(ie: grape juice) or carbohydrate drink
Creatine is absorbed much better with glucose based drinks.

For Strength and Lean Body Mass:

Loading Phase
Drink one serve ( 5g ) 6 times a day for 6 to 7 days in between meals
Drink plenty of water to enhance muscle hydration

Maintenance Phase
Drink one serve ( 5g ) twice a day for 3 weeks. 30 minutes before and after workouts is ideal.

Rest Phase
It is recommended to stop using Creatine for a period of 3 to 4 weeks before repeating another Loading Phase.

The Power of Yoga

There is no underestimating the power of yoga-an ancient spiritual practice involving meditation, plainness and spiritual enlightenment, as well as physical strengthening, toning and stretching. One of the primary beliefs guiding the practice of yoga is that the mind and body are indelibly connected.

The practice of yoga is meant to help its practitioners to lead better lives. There are currently more than 20 million people practicing yoga in the United States, so the word has clearly spread about this powerful practice. Thus, as a result, more and more fitness experts have begun to see the value in specializing in yoga instruction as part of their fitness and therapy programs.

The Benefits of Yoga

Regularly practicing yoga can help to achieve a better balance between mind and body, promoting strength and healing in both. Although it was initially developed in India to help practitioners get closer to the "Supreme Being," many Americans find practical benefits from a more secularly spiritual version of the practice. The following are just a few of the benefits that can be achieved by practicing some form of yoga:

Achieving glowing, healthy skinAdvancing blood circulationBoosting concentration and self controlBuilding a stronger immune systemCleansing organs and improving their functionsCreating balance and harmony between mind and bodyCultivating a higher tolerance to painDeveloping better muscle tone and postureEnhancing physical flexibility, stamina and strengthGetting better control over one's impulsesHelping cultivate a more positive outlook about life (peace of mind)Improving mental clarityIncreasing relaxationReducing stress

The Power of Yoga

People who practice yoga on a regular basis and truly integrate the concepts into their life will see more than just surface-level benefits such as muscle tone, better skin, feeling good and releasing stress, although it is also about all those things. At its core, however, the yoga lifestyle is about harnessing and using the energy surging in your body and mind to achieve grace, poise, spiritual enlightenment, self awareness and inner contentment.

As the popularity of this physical and spiritual practice continues to grow, universities and colleges are making certifications and degrees more widely available. Depending on experience, location, class size and the amount you charge per yoga class, a career in yoga instructing can earn you a salary of anywhere between $30,000 to $70,000. With time, the practice of yoga can help you to achieve powerful things such as endurance, self control, strength, vitality and a rewarding career.

Power Yoga Teacher Training Courses

Power Yoga is considered to be a contemporary form of Ashtanga Yoga and can be a very intense workout. Yoga teachers can benefit from taking a Power Yoga teacher training course, as aspects of this particular form of Yoga can be added into an already established practice. Power Yoga workouts can often attract new students who otherwise might not be interested in Yoga. That is because it is a very cardiovascular and aerobic workout, with emphasis on strength and flexibility. People that are already in great shape might find that it helps to improve their bodies, therefore adding to their overall fitness levels.

In order to grow a Yoga practice, teachers must not be static. The practice of Yoga has evolved over time and teachers have been at the forefront of that movement. A Power Yoga teacher training course can be a great asset to an already established practice. Beginners may also be attracted to it because it is more of an Americanized version of Yoga - meaning that there isn't a lot of chanting or meditation. The focus is more on the actual physical body instead of the spiritual one. For many people that are just getting into Yoga, it can be a more accessible way to practice.

In order to gain real perspective on Power Yoga, aspiring teachers should know how to do the poses correctly, with the correct posture and breathing techniques. A teacher training course can help teachers create routines and establish a rapport with the students in the class. It will also help educate teachers on how to work with and around injuries. All of those are core aspects to becoming a knowledgeable and evolved Power Yoga teacher.

The power of Yoga as a recognized workout is a momentum that is best kept moving forward. Becoming an informed Power Yoga teacher requires some time and dedication, but doing so can help to improve your connection with Yoga, therefore helping your students do the same. Change through growth and forward thinking can help us on our journey through life. Finding and then taking the right Power Yoga teacher training course can greatly expand your understanding and help to deepen your connection to the practice of Yoga.

Regardless of which style one has roots in, Yoga certification in more than one style helps teachers become well-rounded in their knowledge. Power Yoga instructor courses contain knowledge regarding safety, alignment, adjustments and assisting. The Yogic subtle body and some Sanskrit training are a plus, when shopping for the right Yoga course.
